 H.E. Bailiff Edward A. Rich, GCSJ, MMSJ, has been voted on to the Petit Consiel and has resigned as Prior of New South Wales. Chevalier Fred Maestrelli KCSJ appointed as the Prior of New South Wales.

The Soverign Order of St John of Jerusalem, New South Wales Prior has Committed Resources to assisting the Westmead Research Hub acquire an Illumina BedeStation 500g Genotyping System Illumina 500 Project

The Grand Master on 1 September 2006 created two Grand Priories; Southern Australia and Northern Australia. The Grand Priory of Southern Australia is H.E. Bailiff Victor J Techritz, AM, GCSJ.
